How do you find the genotype and phenotype?

genotype is the specific genetic structure of an organism. Usually found through sequencing or through large numbers of mating crosses (medel's peas is an example of the latter). Phenotype is the physical make up of an organism, you would just need to look at them to figure it out ;-)
