Is this just stupid.?

There's this thing called an award and we have to do 13 weeks of community, self, and fitness work I said at the start I didn't wnat to do it and my year head said ok . There are a few girls in my cl that don't wnat to do it either and said the same at the start now she's telling us we should all be doing it and she's even making us go out for community work. What should I do.?I already do my own bits and thats why i didn't wanna be rushed into this ****.
