My baby was getting hiccups every day but has not gotten them for about a week?

My doc asks every time I talk to her about my babies hiccups. When I said they have stopped over the last week she curled up her face and gave me a hmmmm... Is it a bad thing if she was getting them every day and now over the last week she has not at all? 39 weeks along.
