Is a 256mb DDr 266mhz Cl2.5 compatible with my Gateway FX510X Desktop/PC.?

I am recently looking into acquiring more RAM for my computer. I found one of my old pc's and i thought that there might be a chance that i could use some of its Ram. However unlikely that it is, it would still be better than having to buy more ram.
