Ewww!!!! my toe?

my toe nail is falling off... i never had that happened to me before. im just wondering if wen my toe nail falls off, will their be another one under it, if not, how long will it take for the new one to grow back... and if this ever happened to you, does it hurt at all? by the way, its the nail on the big toe,
